The 26th anniversary of the event which was begun by James Beard and Gael Greene. This program provides food for the homeless and less fortunate and has provided meals for more than 200,000 people. I was fortunate to attend this year’s event which honored the great chefs of France. Many of whom you’ll hear in upcoming podcasts here on my site. As I began my culinary journey this day, I felt like a kid in a literal “candy shop”, surrounded by the best chefs, and the best food one could ask for. What a treat.
